Narrow Gauge Railway Trip
At the beginning of the 20th century Siaurukas was the main vehicle in the region of Aukstaitija (north-eastern Lithuania) for carrying people and such goods as sugar-beet, flax, flour, bacons, flax-seed, butter, wood and sand. Farmers used to transport fertilizers, salt, coal and burning oil.
By integrating the objects of heritage into the social life, we organize trips on regular routes, charter trips, exceptional holiday trips, educational and art projects.
On particular occasions we organize holiday trips for everyone, e.g. Mardi Gras, the Day of the State, St. John‘s day, etc. The passengers of the Narrow Gauge Railway get involved into amusing attractions, enjoy musical performances, etc.

We will bring you by car or minibus to the Anyksciai (111 km from Vilnius) to start tour in Anyksciai region. You will see living places of famous Lithuanian writers', the exhibition of paintings in stone, the Old Railway Station Museum, and the old town where you will feel the atmosphere of ancient streets, the giant Puntukas Stone which, as the legend says, was carried and dropped here by a devil.
After lunch at the café Silas, a member of the network of Upper Lithuania culinary heritage, you are will be invited to:
- have a ride in a manual railcar around the picturesque valleys,
- find out about wine production during the tour to winery and participate in wine tasting,
- travel in a dining-car along the Anyksciai – Rubikiai – Anyksciai section of the narrow gauge railway and taste the products of Anykščiai winery.

In summertime trips on a train and by bicycle are popular among those who are interested in cultural, natural and historical objects located by stations of the Narrow Gauge Railway.
Having loaded bicycles on the train, passengers go to one of the stations and then go on by bicycles.
